From a young age Kerri always knew she had a passion for working with young children. In Lethbridge, Alberta, she completed the Early Childhood Education Diploma Program and began her career where she ultimately earned the position of Program Director. She has since spent the last 15 years expanding her knowledge in the field of early childhood while also learning to run the associated programs. Kerri has spent a lot of her career working closely with families, and has thoroughly enjoyed creating close relationships with those families over the years
Kerri is excited about her new role as Director of Willowbrae Royal Oak, and said: "Our work is so important, and I am so excited to take on this new role with Willowbrae Childcare Academy Royal Oak."
Kerri believes that children learn best in an environment that encourages and promotes play based learning experiences with educators that have a clear understanding on how to appropriately scaffold a child’s learning.
She believes that getting to work with children and their families is a privilege, and she is so excited to be a part of your family’s early childhood experience!
On a personal note, in 2021 Kerri made the move to Calgary from Cranbrook BC, to start a new adventure with her partner and their two fur babies! In Kerri’s spare time she loves to be outdoors, camping, playing baseball or heading back to B.C. to visit her family in Cranbrook.
